(wow, you guys have been busy out there!) Critter of the Month Claude Nichols, AAT Level 5 and a VERY good friend of mine :), wrote up this month's CotM. Yes, it's another fish, and YES, you should know this one, especially if you've ever worn Nikes. Eagles soar underwater Penn Wright, a member of Boy Scout Troop #714 in Renton Washington, decided to do his Eagle Scout project on REEF surveying in the Pacific NW. In a nutshell, he learned the critters, taught his troop (whose members and scoutmaster all dive locally), organized several dives and completed a bunch of REEF surveys. More info and photos of the boys here! Bunches of Advancements My goodness, this past month has been test-taking month for many of our eager critterwatchers. These ambitious divers have advanced up the REEF experience level ladder, with two attaining expert level. Here's the list:
