Dive Planning Resources:

• Pelagia Scuba's PNW Current and Tide Tables - Specifically for divers - The NW's own Mischi Carter has compiled more info than you'll ever need to plan your dive, into a handy spiral bound book that you can take with you.
  
  Dive sites are mapped out, which current stations to use, current speed, and idiosyncracies of each dive site provided. It's the best!
  
  Mischi also teaches a class in the Seattle area about how to plan dives around currents and tides.
  
• NOAA Current Station Locations for Oregon, Washington and BC. I plot these on my GPS so I know where they are when I'm out on the boat. I have no life.
• Dive Planning with Current Tables - Excellent online tutorial!!

Tide and Current Sites Online:

• WWW Tide and Current Predictor - based on X -tides by David Flater. Options to display in graphic or table form, choose your date, days to display, etc. This is the one I use all the time.
• NOAA Dive Site
• CO-OPS Tide Predictions
• Tide Tool for Palm Handhelds - download this program and be able to check tides/currents anytime and anywhere (except underwater) This is one I use the very most, and it's handy for planning dives on the fly. Free.

Nautical Charts and GPS Finder

• Puget Sound Bathymetry Google overlay - Quite possibly the coolest and easiest way to view underwater geography. Switch from map to satellite view. Red is shallowest, purple is deepest. Compiled by friend Lamont.
