60 ft: California Sea Cucumbers also dead and decaying.

  • 25 ft: Wolfeel (only about 5 this time, not 20) were still out and panting. A few lingcod present (3) sitting on rocks and panting
  • 25-35 ft: Juv Copper Rockfish in midwater
  • 25-45 ft: A few large adults of several species roamed around (Black, Copper, Quillback, Brown) near the bottom.
  • 35-45 ft: Quillback juveniles swimming midwater. There was a distinct separation between Coppers and Quills.
  • 40-50 ft: Dungeness Crabs (about 20) were seen scurrying around the bottom. Normal response to divers presence (more skittish than usual actually).
  • 40-60ft: Northern Ronquil present. Some invasive tunicates, (Ciona savignyi) also present.
  • 45 ft: A layer of Spot Prawns covered rocks, silty bottom, etc. Numbers drastically reduced from previously.
  • 60 ft: Orange ribbon worms lay out on the silt, dead.
  • 60 ft: California Sea Cucumbers also dead and decaying.
  • 60 ft:  A small 6" Speckled Sanddab and same size English Sole were seen.
  • 68 ft: California Sea Cucumbers also dead and decaying.
